Begin Your New Life, Take the First Step

Retreat at Lancaster County is a premier addiction treatment center providing innovative drug and alcohol addiction programs, as well as detoxification.

Patients are treated on an individual basis and receive a custom treatment and recovery regimen to fully address their specific needs. We also offer holistic treatment, which focuses on the whole person for lifelong wellness, rather than just the disease of addiction and its symptoms.

Retreat is a fully accredited rehabilitation center and accepts most insurance plans. This allows us to provide the highest quality of care and treatment while still remaining affordable. We treat patients throughout the United States and are headquartered on 24 pastoral acres in rural Pennsylvania. Our secure campus offers high-end accommodations and modern amenities.

  • “After using drugs and alcohol for over 10 years, I did not believe that rehab would be an option for me; I didn’t even know how to get into one! I walked through the doors of Retreat on January 10, 2012, weighing only 78 pounds and feeling lost, afraid, beat down and hopeless. I could no longer look in the mirror at this point, and wasn’t even sure if I wanted to live any longer.

From the minute I walked through the door, I felt the love and compassion that Retreat offers. I immediately became involved in the groups that Retreat offers and I was able to truly work on myself. I was slowly beginning to fill the holes within me that I always filled with drugs and alcohol. I was able to smile, laugh, and feel a freedom that I don’t believe I ever felt before.”

  • “My name’s Samantha and I’m happily engaged. I’m the proud, responsible mother of a three year old daughter. I’m a full-time student, a sister, a cousin, an aunt, a friend, and a daughter myself. And I’d be none of those things unless I was also a sober, recovering drug addict and alcoholic.

For eight years I was an IV heroin user on the brink of death. My life was a mess. On December 22nd, 2011 – I showed up at the Retreat looking for nothing but a break from my own despair.

Retreat took care of me. They listened to me. They taught me. They encouraged me and they loved me. Without the compassionate care I received as a patient there – I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

So, thank you Retreat – for my life, my family and my future. ”

  • “After seeing the place in person, I knew this was the place where I wanted to get sober. My experience at Retreat was amazing. I’ve been to other rehabs and they weren’t nearly as nice. The facility was clean, as they had cleaning staff in every day. The food was excellent because they have their own professional kitchen staff. The entire team at Retreat was very supportive and gave me hope for being here.”
