Clinical Program

The Retreat has developed the most comprehensive curriculum and delivery of drug and alcohol services to its patients. The Retreat will further expand its quality and enhance delivery of the most effective services to its patients through continual development of its programs. Additionally, through continued review, research and training, the Retreat will be able to evolve its programming, as necessary, to incorporate the latest innovations and practices in the industry. By having the best service products, the Retreat will continually have the ability to provide to its patients the highest level of Medical Detox, Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Care.

Utilizing the Retreat’s Diagnostic Instruments, each patient is assigned to a specific and individualized treatment program incorporating comprehensive treatment protocols and also individualized treatment specific to each patients needs. The plans are tailored specifically to each patient and delivered in specialized, twice daily small group sessions and daily individual sessions with their primary counselor. A patient’s treatment protocol is reviewed frequently and updated as necessary, so that their treatment is clearly defined and constantly updated on a focused individualized basis. The Retreat will provide many different specialized programming options, allowing for the various needs of its patients; therefore, each patient’s experience will be truly unique and again specifically tailored to his/her needs. In addition to the more standardized programming (coping skills, relationships, relapse prevention, 12-step, etc.), patients will have the opportunity to choose a portion of their treatment (in consultation with the Retreat staff) including:

• Addiction Neuroscience
• Psychopharmacology
• Holistic therapy (equine therapy, drum therapy, nutrition/fitness counseling, yoga and meditation, etc.)
